WELCOME TO THE FIRST OFFICIAL POST OF  CHARITY CHECKER! 

Our goal is redesign the way in which the public accesses philanthropic information therefore creating a more effective chain of philanthropic actions.

This blog is a resource for those who wish to donate, volunteer or simply learn about reliable philanthropic efforts throughout the world.

It is easy to get lost in the sea of non-profits and charities but it DOESN'T have to be that way! The most effective form of philanthropy is informed philanthropy!  It is better to give $1 to a A+ organization than $1,000 to a C- organization.

We have compiled a simple grading system, a system that every person can easily recognize because we have been faced with it throughout our entire life, A+ through F. An A+ organization is financially and socially accountable, they maintain and follow through their distinct mission statement and most importantly they aid the generations of today while attempting to preserve and propel future generations.


We will be posting 2 organizations and one volunteer opportunity every week that have been thoroughly reviewed by the Charity Checker team. In each recommendation there will be concise reasons as to why it was chosen to review and why it received the grade it did. 

Our initial purpose to this blog is to expose our readers to great organizations they can trust. You may not see too many F organizations at first, and that is on purpose! We want you to see some great organizations before we show you some not so great ones!

The only way this blog will be successful is if we receive feedback from readers, what do you like? what don't you? what would you like to see? Do you have a charity you want us to review? LET US KNOW!!!
